Single Vs Multi-Vendor

The single vs multi-vendor is a free addon of our system. It is not any stand alone application and the customers need to have the main application in order to use this addon.

It is an addon through which a customer can run the system with single vendor or with multi-vendor according to the configuration. The admin need to upload the addon first. After uploading it, the admin has to Activate the addon.

After activating the addon, the admin can enable single or multi vendor from the settings option below the addon or can configure it from Configurations> General Settings> Disable Multivendor.

Here the admin will see an option named Disable Multivendor. If the admin selects Yes then multivendor option will be disabled and only admin will be able to add products in the system. However, if the admin selects No then the system can have multiple vendors in it.

It is to let know that, if multivendor is disabled in the system then all the vendors who are already registered in the system as vendor can only use the system as Customers and admin vendor panel will not be able to access as well. Furthermore, all the menus and sub-menus regarding vendor will no longer be available and admin can only add products under his authority and all the users can only purchase from admin. Moreover, the products from the other vendors will be removed from the system and only the products under admin vendor profile will be displayed in the system.

If multivendor is enabled in the system then all the products from all the vendors including admin's vendor profile will be displayed and the users can purchase from all vendors.
